How to cook borscht quickly: a recipe without unnecessary fuss

It takes a lot of time to make a really tasty borscht. You need to peel and chop quite a few ingredients for the dish. But with the following technique, you'll do it as quickly as possible.

The idea of making the fastest borscht with dressing was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Myroslava Pekariuk. It will be delicious if you add beans.

Ingredients:

  • pork - 300 g
  • smoked fillet on the bone - 150 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • beans (pre-boiled or canned) - 200 g
  • potatoes (medium) - 4 pcs.
  • cabbage - 300 g
  • borscht dressing - 0.5 liters
  • bay leaves - 2 pcs.
  • black peppercorns - 5 pcs.
  • garlic, herbs, salt, ground black pepper, sour cream

Method of preparation:

1. Fry the meat that will be used for the broth.

2. Add the onion, cut in half, to the meat, then add the bay leaves and peppercorns.

3. Pour water over everything, add salt and cook over low heat for 40 minutes.

4. Remove the onion and add the pre-boiled beans.

5. Prepare the vegetables: potatoes and cabbage.

6. After you have added potatoes and cabbage to the broth, add borscht dressing, garlic, and ground black pepper.
