How to cook beets for a festive table in an interesting way.

Ingredients:

  • beets - 600 g
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • parsley - 10 g
  • olive oil - 1-1.5 tbsp (for baking)

  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • honey - 1 tsp (25 g)
  • red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the beetroot and cut into slices of about 1.5 cm or half rings of 1 cm.

2. Cover a baking sheet with baking paper. Put the beetroot slices in a single layer closely.

3. Drizzle with olive oil and bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes.

4. Turn the slices over and bake for another 20-25 minutes until tender.
