How to cook a soft egg scramble: a secret from the chef

There seems to be nothing easier than making scrambled eggs. But if you want to get a real dish or scramble, not just fried eggs, you need to follow all the instructions and know many nuances.

Chef Tom Bateman knows exactly how to make a "soft" egg scramble that will surprise everyone. On TikTok, he shared all the secrets, following which a standard scrambled egg can sparkle with new flavors.

Bateman says that before you start cooking scrambled eggs, melt a piece of butter in a frying pan and fry it until it turns nutty brown. Let it cool down.

To get a soft scramble consistency, beat the eggs with a little heavy cream. Pour the eggs into the cold butter and gently form a scramble.

Remove it from the pan, turn down the heat, and fry the bacon. All the fat from the bacon should remain in the pan. Only then will the bacon become really crispy. Put it on top of the scramble and serve it to the table.
