There are few people who don't love a well-done steak with spicy sauce and wine. And although this dish seems complicated at first glance, it is prepared very, very quickly, the main thing is to choose the right meat and marinate it well.

On his Facebook page, Chef Andriy Velychko shared tips on how to choose the right meat for steak, as well as the recipe itself, which will make a stunning dish.

1. How to choose the meat

The expert advises to buy ribeye, as it has a richer taste and consists of three different muscles with fat layers, or the second option is striploin, which is more delicate in taste, consists of only one muscle and a strip of fat is located outside, which makes the meat more delicate and less saturated.

2. How to marinate steak

It's very simple, salt, pepper, olive oil or just a good red wine, as well as a sprig of rosemary will be enough for a marinade. It is also important to choose the right salt, as this will determine the flavor of the meat, which it will reveal. You can use smoked salt, lemon salt, sea salt, Himalayan salt, black salt - any kind you like. This also applies to olive oil and pepper.

3. What to cook with?

  1. For steak, both a grill and a grill will be very convenient, a grill or a grid is secondary, because the main thing is to have a strong heat without fire, charcoal or hardwood or fruit wood, a clean grill and convenient tongs to turn the steak.
  2. After the steak is well marinated, it can be placed on the grill grate and left untouched for 1-2 minutes. Then turn it 90 degrees and grill for 1-2 minutes, then turn it over and repeat the procedure.
  3. In total, the steak should be grilled for about 6-8 minutes.
  4. It is important to remove the steak from the heat, brush it with butter and cover it with foil, and leave it untouched for 3-4 minutes. During this time, the fibers will relax, and the temperature will be evenly distributed throughout the meat.
  5. Then return it to the fire and fry for 1 minute on each side.

The steak can be served with various sauces to your liking, as well as with any vegetables.
