How to cook a cauliflower and chicken casserole: a diet recipe
Cauliflower is exactly the kind of vegetable that you can always find on store shelves regardless of the season. The vegetable itself is considered low-calorie and dietary, so dishes based on it will be the same. One of the best ways to cook cauliflower is in delicious casseroles. They can be combined with any other vegetables, cheese, meat, and sauces.
Food blogger Yuliia Fedorenko (fedorenko011282) shared a recipe for cauliflower and chicken casserole on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet – 200 g
- cauliflower – 300 g
- eggs – 2 pcs
- sour cream – 150 g
- mozzarella – 80 g
- tomatoes – 150 g
- salt, spices
Method of preparation:
1. Chicken fillet cut into large cubes. Put in a mold.
2. Pre-boil the cabbage. When ready, divide it into florets. Put it on top of the fillet.
3. For the filling, mix sour cream, eggs and spices. Pour into the mold.
4. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it over the casserole.
5. Cut the tomatoes into slices and put them on the cheese.
6. Bake the casserole until tender for about 40 minutes.
