  2. Smell – only fresh, without any flavors.
  3. Elasticity – this can be checked by pressing the meat with your finger, if the shape is quickly restored, the meat is of high quality and good.

Veal in sour cream sauce:

Ingredients:

  • Veal - 600 g
  • Water - 500 ml
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Flour - 1 tbsp
  • Sour cream - 2 tbsp
  • Parsley - 1 bunch
  • Butter - 20 g
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the veal into small pieces, add a little salt, fry in a pan until golden brown, and add a pinch of pepper.
  2. Put the meat in a cast-iron pan, add chopped onions and soy sauce, as well as carrots, which can be cut into small cubes or diced. Add water, cover, and simmer.
  3. For the sauce: add flour, water, and sour cream to the pan, add salt and pepper, and stir well so that the sauce does not burn, and when it begins to thicken, add a piece of butter and mix.
  4. Chop the parsley.
  5. Put the meat in the pan with the sauce, sprinkle with the herbs, and mix thoroughly.

The meat is best served hot.
