How to brew and drink tea correctly so that it does not harm you: expert advice
Many people simply cannot imagine their day without tea. Some people even drink it several times a day with their favorite sweets. This drink is especially convenient to drink in cool weather, because it is prepared quickly and warms you up immediately. But even such a simple drink should be consumed properly.
Dr. Kravets told us how to drink and prepare tea correctly so that it has a positive effect on the body and does not harm it. Published on the Instagram page.
For high-quality tea, 5-15 brews are the norm. All that changes is the flavor and the amount of nutrients. After this number of brews, heavy and harmful substances will begin to be released from the tea leaf, so it should be discarded.
Brewing temperature
The temperature for brewing tea ranges from 100-80 degrees. It should not be consumed immediately and not in one sip. After all, the constant consumption of hot (as well as cold) food (liquid) leads to damage to the mucous membrane of the esophagus, which can lead to the formation of tumors. Tea that is too hot stimulates the throat, esophagus, and stomach, and can also burn the mucous membrane of the mouth, which will not allow you to fully enjoy the wonderful taste of tea. The temperature of the drink should not exceed +56 degrees.
The best time to drink tea
Tea should be drunk no later than 20-30 minutes before a meal. Otherwise, it will seem tasteless. It is safe for a person to drink three to four cups of the drink in one day.
It is better to drink tea at night with milk. It is worth choosing rooibos or herbal tea to prevent central nervous system agitation. The last cup of black or strong green tea should be drunk a few hours before bedtime.
You should also remember that strongly brewed black tea can lead to darkening of tooth enamel. This drink harms the natural whiteness of teeth more than black coffee and even smoking.
