How to bake vegetables to make them healthy: tips from Marco Cervetti
Vegetables are a great option for lunch, breakfast, and dinner, especially in the fall, when they are most useful. But they can also be easily spoiled – overcooked, overcooked, and thus lose all their beneficial properties.
Chef Marco Cervetti shared some useful tips on his YouTube channel and told us how to bake different vegetables to make them healthy and tasty.
1. Zucchini
You can safely bake it, but zucchini can disintegrate and may even turn into mush. But if you still want to bake it, it is better to do it at low temperatures – 100-120 C.
2. Beets
They should also be baked at a low temperature, and never add salt or oil.
3. Onions
It is the onion that needs to be baked at high temperatures so that it is well-cooked and soft inside.
4. Potatoes
There is no need to peel them, bake them first at a low temperature, and then at 180-190 C.
5. Broccoli
If you want this vegetable to be healthy, scald it with boiling water, then dry it and bake it first at 100-120 C, and then at 180 C for a few minutes.
6. Peppers
You need to bake it at a very high temperature, then cool it down and add it to any dish.
7. Eggplant
Bake it at a high temperature so that the skin burns and everything inside is the most delicious part.
