How to bake the perfect Lviv cheesecake: tender and does not crumble
Lviv cheesecake is one of the most favorite cottagecheese desserts served in many cafes. At the same time, it is very easy to make at home with raisins, zest and chocolate glaze. Lviv cheesecake has a perfect creamy texture, holds its shape well and does not crumble.
Food blogger Oksana Komashchuk (komashchuk_ksu) shared the recipe of Lviv cheesecake with raisins and chocolate glaze on her Instagram page .
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 600 g
- sugar - 4 tbsp.
- semolina - 2 tbsp.
- eggs - 4 pcs
- raisins - 2 tbsp. + lemon zest - 1 tsp.
- butter - 100 g
Glaze:
- chocolate - 100 g
- milk - 100 ml
Preparation method:
1. All the necessary ingredients for cheesecake, except raisins and zest, beat with a blender until homogeneous. The mass will be thick, like sour cream.
2. Add raisins and grated zest. Stir.
3. Pour the resulting mass into a mold covered with parchment. Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour.
4. For the glaze, melt the chocolate, then mix it with milk.
5. Pour glaze over the cooled cheesecake.
