Baked mackerel is a very appropriate dish for any feast. To bake it deliciously, it is enough to use just a few good spices and to prepare the fish for baking properly.
Food blogger Oksana Kretsul (oksana_kretsul) shared the rules of preparation and five recipes for baking mackerel in the oven on her Instagram page.
Rules of preparation of fish
1. The fish does not need to be defrosted completely, only 50-60% – it will be easier to work with it.
2. Rinse under running water.
3. Cut the belly, remove the insides, and remove the black film.
4. Cut the fillet along the backbone on both sides.
5. Rinse again under running water, and pat dry with paper towels.
