How to bake mackerel deliciously: an original recipe
Mackerel can be not only salted and marinated but also be cooked deliciously in the oven and on the grill. Serve it with sauces and lemon for a bright flavor!
The chef shared a recipe for delicious baked mackerel with a vegetable sauce on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- mackerel - 1 pc.
- tomatoes - 2-3 pcs.
- onions - 1 pc.
- garlic - 3-4 cloves.
- thyme - 1 sprig
- dried chili - 1/2 tsp.
- cream 30% + 100 ml
- salt and pepper to taste
- capers - 3-4 pcs.
- anchovies - 2 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Bake the vegetables in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
2. Divide the mackerel into fillets, cut off the rib bones and remove the strip from the backbones with tweezers. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dried chili, brush with oil on the skin side and bake at 180 for 20 minutes skin side up.
3. Grind the vegetables in a blender and add cream. Pass through a sieve to make the sauce smooth and add capers and anchovies to the finished sauce.
Sprinkle the finished dish with herbs!
