Mackerel is one of the most budget-friendly, but very healthy and tasty fish species. It can be cooked in different ways: baked, salted, grilled, stewed with vegetables, made into pates, and added to salads.
Cook Polina shared a recipe for delicious baked mackerel with potatoes, tomatoes and spices on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- mackerel fillets - 4 pcs.
- potatoes - 500 g
- spices for fish - to taste
- salt - to taste
- paprika, mixed peppers, oil
- potatoes - 5 pcs.
- tomatoes - 5 pcs.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the potatoes into small slices, add the pepper mix, paprika, salt, and oil, mix and place on a baking sheet or baking dish.
2. Gut the fish well, cut off the head, wash it, and remove all the bones so that the fillet remains, but do not remove the skin.
3. Make net-like cuts in the fillet, sprinkle with fish spices and salt on both sides.
4. Put the fillets on the potatoes and put in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
It is better to eat the finished dish hot!
