How to bake mackerel and hake deliciously: a universal way

Mackerel and hake are fairly budget-friendly and meaty fish species. That's why they are best suited for baking. There is one universal and very simple method. You can always find all the ingredients in your refrigerator.

The universal method of cooking hake and mackerel is published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname alin_withkitchen.

Ingredients:

  • fish (hake or mackerel) – 2 pcs
  • carrots – 1 pc
  • onion – 1 pc
  • sour cream – 2 tbsp
  • mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • vegetable oil – for frying
  • salt, spices for fish – to taste

Cooking method:

1. Clean the fish, cut off all excess, rinse. Blot with napkins.

2. Fry carrots and onions in vegetable oil. Mix mayonnaise and sour cream separately.

3. Put the fish in the spices in a foil dish, which should be greased with vegetable oil.

4. Put the fish in the mold, and top each piece with sour cream and mayonnaise.

5. Top each slice with onion and carrot fries.

6. Put in the oven to bake for 25 minutes at 190 degrees.

7. Sprinkle with herbs before serving.
