How to bake lard with spices and garlic
According to experts, lard is a very valuable, tasty and healthy product. It contains a lot of vitamins, namely A and E and minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, copper, selenium, and zinc. Lard is also rich in omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which have a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system and help normalize cholesterol levels. Lard can be used to make snacks and spreads, baked with spices, boiled, and pickled. It is added to minced meat for cutlets and sandwiches.

Ingredients:
- lard - 1.5 kg
- garlic - 1 head
- ground bay leaf - 1/4 tsp.
- salt - 1.5 tsp.
- pepper mix 1.5 tsp.
- water - 3 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Cut a large piece of lard in half and make deep punctures with a sharp knife.
2. Mix spices, add garlic and mash well. Add water and mix.
3. Stuff the lard with the mixture and coat it completely. You can leave it in the refrigerator to marinate, but you can also bake it right away.
4. Put the lard in foil and wrap it well. Put it in a baking dish and bake in the oven until it is done.
5. Unwrap the foil and return to the oven for another 10 minutes for a crispy crust.
You can eat the lard hot, with horseradish, mustard and herbs!
