How to add kefir to pancake dough to make them fluffy: We share the technology
To make pancakes fluffy and tender, they are most often cooked with kefir. But you can't just pour it into the mass. It must be heated.
The idea of making fluffy pancakes with kefir was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna with the nickname ketrin_lifestyle_.
Ingredients:
- kefir - 250 ml (must be well heated)
- egg - 1 pc
- sugar - 3 tbsp
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- baking soda 0.5 tsp or biscuit powder
- flour - 240 g
- vegetable oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Heat the kefir over a fire or in the microwave.
2. Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt and baking soda and mix. In another bowl, mix the egg and sugar. Add the warmed kefir and mix again.
3. Add the mixture of flour, salt and baking soda. Knead the dough and set it aside to rest for 5-7 minutes.
4. After the dough has rested, do not mix it.
5. Pour vegetable oil into the preheated pan.
6. Then, using a spoon, put the pancakes on the pan.
7. Fry over low heat for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.
