How much to marinate chicken meat: secrets and recipe from the cook
The simplest and easiest barbecue to prepare is made from chicken. Firstly, chicken is not fatty and marinates very quickly, and secondly, it can be fried both in the oven and on the grill. The most important thing is to make a good marinade, which will give the meat tenderness and make it juicy.
Cook Olena (ole__naa) shared a recipe for a successful chicken barbecue with pineapple and an unusual marinade on Instagram.
Tip from the cook: marinate the meat for 2-3 hours!
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet – 1 kg
- pineapple – 1 pc. or 1 can
- pepper (red, yellow, green) – 1 pc
- onion at will – 1/2 pc
- champignons – 4-5 pcs
Marinade for vegetables:
- soy sauce – 2 tbsp
- olive oil – 2 tbsp
- lemon juice
- garlic – 2-3 teeth
- oregano – a pinch
Marinade for meat:
- olive oil – 2-3 tbsp
- seasonings for chicken – to taste
- honey – 1-2 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the vegetables and put them in a bowl.
2. Marinade for vegetables: mix olive oil with lemon juice, add squeezed garlic and oregano, mix thoroughly and pour over the vegetables, leave to marinate for 2-3 hours.
3. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces and place in a medium-sized bowl.
4. Marinade for the meat: mix olive oil with honey and seasonings, pour it over the meat, and mix well. Leave it to marinate for 2-3 hours.
5. Fry the kebabs together with the vegetables.
