Corn is a versatile, delicious product that contains a lot of dietary fiber, as well as fiber, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamin E, and other nutrients that activate metabolic processes. It is worth noting that corn can not only be added to salads, but also frozen, canned, boiled, baked, cooked with salt, butter, and even caramel.

Cook Anastasiia shared on Instagram how to properly cook young corn to make it soft and very juicy.

Tips from the cook:

– You only need to cook corn for 15-20 minutes. Salt and butter should be added after cooking. Salt should not be added to the water to prevent the corn from becoming tough and tasteless!

– The most important thing is to pour boiling water over the corn, not cold water, so it won't be hard! After cooking, leave the corn in the water for 1 hour!

  • butter

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the corn, and break it if it is too large and does not fit into the pan. Put the corn husks on the bottom of the pan, then put the cobs on top.

2. Pour boiling water over the corn, press down on top with a plate, cook for 15-20 minutes, then leave it to steep for 1 hour.

3. Then put it on a dish, sprinkle it with salt, and brush it with butter!
