How many eggs to add to the dough for perfect syrniki: tips and recipe
Syrniki are an ideal breakfast dish that can be made without flour, with bran, rye, and rice flour. But the most important thing is to make a non-liquid dough, so don't add 2-3 eggs to the base, 1 will be enough. Also, do not add a lot of sugar, because the syrniki will stick and fall apart.
Cook Yulia Lozan shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious syrniki that won't fall apart or burn due to the right consistency.
Cook's tip: The taste and texture of syrniki depends on the consistency of the cottage cheese itself, so choose cottage cheese that is not too wet or simply take cheesecloth and squeeze it dry.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese - 500 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- salt - a pinch
- sugar - 1-2 tbsp
- rice flour - 3-4 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the cottage cheese with a fork or through a sieve, or if you have a blender, use it to beat it.
2. Add all the ingredients and form the syrniki, roll them in flour.
3. Fry the syrniki in coconut oil over medium heat for a few minutes on both sides until light golden brown.
4. Then put the lid on the syrniki and leave them on low heat for a few minutes.
Serve the syrniki hot with condensed milk and sour cream.
