How many eggs to add to potato pancakes to keep their shape and not darken: a simple recipe
Potato pancakes are one of the most delicious and easiest potato dishes to prepare. Very often they turn out dark because potatoes quickly lose their color, so be sure to add onions and do not overuse flour. Another important thing is to add only 2 eggs to the dough to make the consistency perfect.
Chef Dmytro Martsenyuk shared a recipe for delicious, golden potato pancakes with garlic and onions on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 8 pcs.
- onion - 4 pcs.
- garlic - 3 cloves.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- flour - 5-6 tbsp (can be without)
- salt, pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the potatoes, add eggs, flour, spices, onions, garlic and mix well.
2. Heat a frying pan, add oil and spoon in the pancakes. Fry until golden brown over medium heat.
3. Place the pancakes on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.
Serve potato pancakes with mushroom julienne, it will be delicious!
