Cooking pasta

When you don't have enough time to cook, sometimes you have to eat yesterday's meals. Or if there is a lot of boiled product left over and you feel bad about throwing it away. But you shouldn't do that with pasta. It is better to eat this product always fresh.

Today, the FoodOboz editorial team will tell you why experts do not recommend eating yesterday's reheated pasta.

Nutritionist Mariyat Mukhina advises eating pasta only fresh. She spoke about this on a radio program. If the product is reheated in the microwave, the starch will begin to change its structure and will be poorly digested. This can be dangerous for the body. Pasta that has been stored outdoors for a long time is particularly harmful. They are poisonous.

In a commentary for OBOZREVATEL, Oleh Shvets, PhD, nutritionist, and dietitian, notes that pasta can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than one day. During this time, the product will not have time to deteriorate and cause harm to health in a cold environment.
