Honey cake, which does not require rolling out cakes: how to make a cake in a hurry
Medovik is a delicious homemade cake based on delicate honey cakes and sour cream cream. Although it is not difficult to make this dessert and every housewife can handle it, few people like to spend a long time with cakes. Therefore, there is a very convenient alternative.
Food blogger oksana_foodblogg shared her recipe for honey cake without rolling out the cakes. It was posted on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- butter - 150 g
- sugar - 90 g
- honey - 2 tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- flour - 200 g
- sour cream 20% - 600 g
- powdered sugar - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix butter, sugar, honey in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
2. Add baking soda and stir until the mixture begins to foam. Cook for several minutes until caramel color. Remove from the stove and let cool.
3. Add one egg at a time, stirring with a whisk.
4. Gradually add the flour.
5. Pour the resulting dough into the mold.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
7. Cool the resulting cake and divide into 4 equal cakes.
8. To make the cream, mix sour cream with powdered sugar.
9. Spread the cake with cream. Sprinkle with crumbs.
