Homemade sour cream cheese: you can eat it the next day
Homemade cream cheese can be used to make a variety of sandwiches, casseroles, and salads. Making such a product yourself will be much healthier than buying it in a store. It's also more budget-friendly.
The idea of making homemade sour cream cheese was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Maryna Frolova. The recipe is as simple as possible.
Ingredients:
- sour cream 20% – 350 g
- sour cream 15% – 350 g
- lemon juice – 1 tsp
- salt – 0.5 tsp
Method of preparation:
1. Put sour cream in a deep bowl.
2. Add lemon juice.
3. Add salt.
4. Mix everything well.
5. Put a colander in an empty and dry container.
6. Put in a thick cheesecloth.
7. Put the sour cream mass on it, and tie it up.
8. Place the load on top.
9. Put in the refrigerator for a day.
10. After the day has passed, you can eat the cheese.
