Homemade mayonnaise from boiled eggs: an original recipe from Yevhen Klopotenko
Mayonnaise is a delicious sauce that is most often used as a salad dressing and for making marinades. It's best to make it at home from natural products so that you can be sure of its safety.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for delicious homemade mayonnaise made from boiled eggs on his website.
Ingredients:
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- sunflower oil - 150 ml
- lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- mustard - 1 tsp.
- salt - to taste
- ground black pepper - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Put eggs in a saucepan and cook until boiling, then for another 2,5 minutes. Pour cold water over the cooked eggs and peel them, carefully separating the white from the yolk so as not to break the integrity of the yolk.
2. Put the whole egg yolks in a blender bowl, add 1 tsp of mustard, 1 tsp of lemon juice, a pinch of salt and ground black pepper, and blend everything with an immersion blender.
3. Add oil.
Ready-made mayonnaise can be stored for up to 5 days. Just put it in a clean, dry jar.
