Homemade crispy cookies without flour and butter: how to make

These cookies are very crispy, airy, and tender. The reason is that they are made with proteins, so they have a meringue texture. There is no flour in the composition, so the dessert is also low in calories.

The idea of making egg white cookies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Dariia with the nickname recepti_dariko.

Ingredients:

  • egg whites – 2 pcs
  • sugar – 150 g
  • vanilla sugar – 1/2 tbsp
  • citric acid – 1/4 tsp
  • nuts – 50 g
  • chocolate – 50 g

Ingredients:

1. Beat the whites with citric acid for 1.5 minutes.

2. Add vanilla sugar.

3. Pour in a tablespoon of sugar, continuing to beat until the sugar dissolves for 10-15 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, chop the nuts (you can use any kind) and chocolate (you can also experiment).

5. Pour into the whites and mix gently with a spatula.

6. Put it on parchment.

7. Bake in a preheated 150-degree oven for 20 minutes.

8. Cool completely.
