A food blogger with the nickname nisenitnitsia shared how to make churchkhela at home on Instagram. It turns out that there is nothing complicated about this process, and all the ingredients are affordable.

Ingredients

  • juice - 1 liter
  • flour - 2/3 cup
  • sugar - 2 tbsp
  • walnuts - 400 g

Method of preparation

1. Dry the nuts in a dry pan. Then string them on a double thread. Make knots at the ends.

2. Pour the juice into a saucepan, add sugar and flour. Cook over low heat for 20-30 minutes until thickened.

3. Cool slightly and dip the nuts in this mixture. Put them on a plate for 15 minutes and then dip them again. You can repeat it a third time.

4. Hang to dry in a dry place without sun for 2-3 days.
