Croissants are the perfect accompaniment to tea or coffee. And if you don't have time to make homemade dough, you can use ready-made puff pastry as the basis for the dessert. In any case, the croissants are extremely fluffy, airy, and porous. The main thing is that the delicacy is made from just three ingredients.

Food blogger Khrystyna Kei (kristinakey.blog) shared a recipe for homemade puff pastry croissants on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

  • yeast puff pastry – 500 g
  • chocolate – 2 bars
  • butter – 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Defrost the dough beforehand. Lightly roll it out and cut into triangles.

2. Put three chocolate cubes and a slice of butter on the wide part of the triangle. Wrap the croissant. Place on a baking sheet.

3. Brush the croissants with the beaten egg.

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
