Homemade chicken popcorn: much more budget-friendly than McDonald's nuggets

In all fast food restaurants, you can buy chicken nuggets that have a very crispy and delicious golden crust. They are called chicken popcorn. But this dish is very easy to make at home. The technology is as simple and budget-friendly as possible.

The idea of making homemade chicken popcorn was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olha Holovina (olha.holovina).

Ingredients:

• chicken fillet – 2 pieces
• breadcrumbs – 80 g
• eggs – 3 pcs
• flour – 80 g
• spices for chicken, soy sauce (50 ml)
• oil – 250-300 ml
• sauce

Cooking method:

1. Cut the chicken fillet into cubes of about 1.5-2 cm.

2. Sprinkle with spices, add soy sauce and mix. Leave to marinate for 20-30 minutes.

3. Beat the eggs, and put the breadcrumbs and flour in separate bowls.

4. Dip each piece in flour, then in eggs, and then in breadcrumbs.

5. Put them in a saucepan with boiling oil and fry until golden brown.

6. Remove with a strainer and serve with the sauce.
