Homemade bread on water: the easiest recipe
If you've been wanting to make sesame seed bread at home for a long time, now is the time to do it. To do this, you will need flour, milk or water, as well as yeast and eggs.
Nutritionist Olena Yermolenko shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious sesame bread with yeast dough, which is a great alternative to bread.
Ingredients:
- flour - 500 g
- warm water - 250 ml
- olive or vegetable oil - 60 g
- pressed yeast - 25
- honey - 40 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- salt - 10 g
- sesame seeds or poppy seeds - a handful
Method of preparation:
1. Mix olive oil with warm water, add honey and yeast, mix.
2. Add the sifted flour and egg and knead the dough until smooth.
3. Put the finished dough into a bowl and leave it in a warm place to rise.
4. Then divide it into three equal parts and leave it again for 30 minutes.
5. Roll each part into sausages about 40 cm long.
6. Next, braid them, pinch the edges, and fold them under.
7. Put the finished braid on a baking sheet and leave it again for another 30 minutes.
8. Mix 1 egg yolk, 0.5 tsp salt, a tablespoon each of olive oil and water. Brush the bun and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
9. Bake for 25 minutes at 170 C.
