In addition to the classic Shuba salad with beets, herring can also be cooked under a cheese coat. This appetizer salad will definitely become your favorite. In addition, it will take not so many ingredients to prepare, even less than required in a classic recipe.

Ingredients:
- lightly salted herring - 250-350 g
- leek - 1 pc
- boiled eggs - 5 pcs
- hard cheese - 200 g
- mayonnaise
- salt, pepper
- herbs
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare the ingredients: cut the herring into cubes and onion into half rings and grate eggs and cheese on a fine grater.
2. At this stage, assemble the salad. Put the herring pieces on the bottom, then onions, grease with mayonnaise, put eggs, salt and pepper, grease with mayonnaise again, and sprinkle generously with cheese at the end.
3. If desired, the salad can be garnished with herbs.
