Hearty "Royal" potatoes in the oven: better than mashed potatoes
Instead of regular mashed potatoes, you can make hearty "Royal" potatoes. They are baked in the oven with a large amount of cheese, bacon, and mushroom caps. The result is a hearty and delicious dish that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
The idea of cooking "Royal Potatoes" was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anna with the nickname ann food. Add fresh herbs on top.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 700 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- salt, pepper, dry garlic to taste
- butter - a piece
- cream cheese (can be amber) - 150 g
- mushrooms (salt and oil to them)
- greens for decoration
Method of preparation:
1. Fry onions and carrots in a frying pan until golden brown.
2. Add salt and stir.
3. Turn off the frying pan and add cream cheese, stir.
4. Chop the potatoes, add salt, pepper and dry garlic.
5. Grease the baking dish with butter, put the potatoes and pour the creamy roast.
6. Put fresh mushrooms on top and brush with oil (salt the mushrooms if desired).
7. Bake for 60 minutes at 200 degrees. Garnish with greens.
