Hearty fried pies with potatoes: what else is tasty to add to the filling besides the vegetable
Classic potato pies can be made much more satisfying. To do this, add boiled buckwheat to the filling, in addition to the vegetable. This is especially appropriate if you have leftover cereal that no one wants to eat.
The idea of making fried kefir pies with potatoes and buckwheat was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Mariana Zhuk(_marianaa._zhuk). The dough does not absorb excess oil.
Ingredients for the dough:
- water – 500 ml.
- yeast – 50 grams
- salt – 1 tsp
- sugar – 1 tbsp
- oil – 2 tbsp
- flour – as much as the dough will take
Method of preparation:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
2. Add salt, sugar, oil and stir.
3. Gradually add the flour until the dough stops sticking to your hands.
4. Form the pies by wrapping the potato and buckwheat filling.
5. Fry in a frying pan.
