Healthy zucchini sticks in batter: a recipe for a budget dinner dish

One of the most delicious and healthy vegetables is zucchini, which can be the basis for preparing light dishes, including stews, mashed potatoes, and soups, as well as pancakes, cutlets, and pancakes. Zucchini can also be used to make delicious jams.

The cook shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious zucchini sticks with cheese breading.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 2 tbsp of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp of finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp of dry garlic
  • a pinch of salt
  • olive oil
  • herbs for serving

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the zucchini into 8-16 bars.

2. Batter: mix breadcrumbs with parmesan, salt, and dry garlic.

3. Place the zucchini on a baking sheet, drizzle generously with oil, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

4. Bake for 20 minutes at 200 C and another 5 minutes at 220 C.

Sprinkle with herbs before serving!
