Healthy sweets made from pumpkin and apples: a participant of Hell's Kitchen shared a recipe
Who doesn't love sweets – delicious candies, chocolate cakes, eclairs with fragrant vanilla cream, marshmallows, marmalade – there are few who don't. But we all forget that besides the fact that it's all very tasty, it's also unhealthy, especially store-bought sweets. Therefore, it is best to try to make healthy and safe ones at home – from berries, dried fruits, vegetables, nuts, and honey.
Oleksandr Hromliuk, a participant of the reality TV show Hell's Kitchen (New Channel), shared a recipe for healthy sweets on his Instagram, the main ingredients of which are apples and pumpkin.
Ingredients:
- apples - 300 g
- pumpkin - 40 g
- dried cherries - 15 g
- nuts - 15 g
- date syrup - 40 g
Method of preparation:
- Wash the apples well, make sure to cut off the top and set it aside, but don't throw it away.
- Carefully cut the center out of the apple and be sure to remove the seeds and cut the flesh into small cubes along with the pumpkin.
- Add the nuts, drizzle with date syrup, and mix well.
- Stuff the apples with the prepared filling, make sure to cover them with a top, and put in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 C.
The finished dessert can be eaten hot immediately, but it will also be delicious cold.
