Healthy sugar-free marshmallows for children: recipe in the oven
Marshmallows are a healthy and nutritious dessert made with fruits and sometimes vegetables. At the same time, these products can also be mixed. This superfood, especially when made at home, is a great alternative to candy and other sweets. Your kids will appreciate it and be satisfied.
The recipe for the healthy apple, carrot, plum, and nut marshmallows was published on one of the culinary blogs about children's menus and nutrition (moireceptuforeva) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- peeled sweet apples – 400 g
- peeled plums – 200 g
- carrots – 1 pc
- walnuts – 50 g
Method of preparation:
1. Put peeled and chopped apples with plums in a saucepan. Put on fire and simmer under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
2. Then add the nuts to the mass. Beat everything with a blender until smooth.
3. Next, grate the raw carrots. Add to the total mass.
4. Cover two baking sheets with parchment. Divide the mass into two parts, and spread it thinly and evenly on the parchment. The thickness should be about 5 mm.
5. Put both baking sheets in the oven. Dry at 70-80 degrees for 4-5 hours. By the way, the oven door should be slightly ajar during the drying process.
6. The finished pastille should not stick to your hands.
