A casserole is a great option for a tasty, healthy, hearty breakfast that is also very quick and easy to prepare. To diversify the taste, you can add berries, fruits, nuts, and vegetables, such as pumpkin, beets, and carrots.

MasterChef judge and chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe for the best autumn pumpkin casserole on Instagram and revealed the secrets of cooking.

"My secret is that I mix all the ingredients and let it stand for half an hour to swell the semolina, and then carefully blend it into a homogeneous mixture so that it is like a cream – then this consistency remains in the finished product," the chef said.

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 350 g
  • sugar - 90 g
  • raisins - 100 g
  • semolina - 35 g
  • pumpkin puree - 300 g
  • cream 30% - 70 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • butter - 20 g
  • breadcrumbs - 50 g

Method of preparation:

  1. Chop and boil the pumpkin, but you can also bake it in the oven. Puree in a blender until smooth.
  2. Mix the cottage cheese and sugar, add the eggs, mix, stir in the semolina and add the pumpkin puree and cream, mix thoroughly again.
  3. Cover a baking dish with parchment, grease with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and pour in the batter.
  4. Put in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 C.

Serve the casserole warm, it will be delicious with jam and sour cream.
