Healthy ginger candies that everyone can eat: a recipe from a food blogger
Everyone loves delicious candy, but it is not only tasty but often also unhealthy. They are made with a lot of sugar, dyes and flavors, and low-quality chocolate. Therefore, the best thing to do is to make them at home from natural products – dried fruits, nuts, honey, spices.
Food blogger Victoria ( vika.allison) shared a recipe on Instagram for safe, tasty, and very healthy sweets that everyone can eat.
Ingredients:
- cashews - 100 g
- pitted dates - 40 g
- fresh ginger - 10 g
- juice and zest of 1/4 lemon
Method of preparation:
1. Pour warm water over the dates and leave for a few minutes.
2. Chop the nuts very finely.
3. Drain the dates, squeeze them a little so that they are not too wet, and add the nuts to them.
4. Grate ginger and lemon zest and add lemon juice.
5. Put everything in a blender and beat until smooth.
6. Form balls with wet hands and leave them in the refrigerator overnight.
