Healthy elderberry honey: how to cook properly
Traditionally, elderberry inflorescences are used to make kvass and syrup, compotes for the winter, and to make healing and healthy honey. Some people say that this is just an ordinary jam, which is very similar to honey in texture and color. But the fact remains that this honey is easy to make, and it turns out to be flavorful and delicious.

Ingredients:
- elderberry inflorescences
- water - 1 liter
- sugar - 1 kg
- citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the elderberry beforehand and then pour it into a saucepan.
2. Cover with water and put on fire. Cook for about 5-7 minutes. Then leave the elderberry in the pot overnight to infuse well.
3. Next, strain the elderberry liquid.
4. Add sugar to the liquid and put on fire. Cook for about 2 hours.
5. Remove the honey from the heat and add citric acid. Stir and boil for a few minutes.
6. Pour the honey into pre-sterilized jars.
