Healthy beet and buckwheat roll: you can use any filling

Beets are most often used to make borscht and salads. You can also make a roll out of this healthy product. Wrap seasonal vegetables in it and you'll get a nutritious dish that won't make you feel heavy.

The idea of making beetroot roll with green buckwheat was published on the borzhemsky healthy food Instagram page. It's just right for summer.

Ingredients:

  • green buckwheat - 100 g
  • water - 170 ml.
  • boiled beets - 150 g
  • salt, spices - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Rinse the buckwheat, cover with drinking water, and leave overnight.

2. After soaking, beat the buckwheat with a blender until smooth without draining. Let the mixture stand for 30 minutes.

3. Add the boiled beets, salt, spices and beat again.

4. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet with parchment.

5. Bake at 180 degrees for 20/25 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

6. Let the roll cool, then carefully remove it from the parchment paper.

7. You can add any filling to your taste: vegetables, herbs, sauce or yogurt.
