Healthy baked apples with cottage cheese and nuts: tastier than any dessert
Apples are very healthy, tasty, and budget-friendly fruits that can be eaten raw or baked with cottage cheese, nuts, and dried fruit.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious baked apples with cottage cheese filling on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Apples - 4 pcs.
- Cottage cheese - 200 g
- Honey - 4 tbsp. l
- Smoked prunes - 100 g
- Vanilla
- Nuts - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Add 1 tbsp of honey and vanilla, soaked and chopped prunes to the cottage cheese. Stir until smooth.
2. Fry the nuts, peel and chop if necessary, and add the remaining honey.
3. Cut off the top of the apples, pierce them with a toothpick in several places (to prevent cracking) and fill with the cottage cheese filling.
4. Bake at 180C for about 20 minutes.
