Hake in the oven: how to prepare a diet and budget fish
Hake is considered a fairly versatile and budget-friendly fish. You can cook it any way you like: steamed, fried in batter, or stewed. However, the fish tastes just as good when baked with vegetables. Dietary, easy and low-calorie.
Food blogger Svitlana (lanas_diet) shared a recipe for baked hake with vegetables, which turns out to be very tasty and dietary, on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- hake - 1 kg
- flour - 40 g
- onion - 2 pcs.
- bell pepper - 2 pcs.
- tomatoes - 400 g
- vegetable oil/butter
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the hake, remove the fins and cut into portions.
2. Dip the fish in flour and place in a baking dish.
3. Cut the vegetables: onion into half rings, pepper into strips, and tomatoes into cubes.
4. Stew the onions until transparent.
5. Then add the pepper.
6. As soon as the pepper is soft, add the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Vegetables can be put on top of the fish or you can beat them in a blender.
8. Bake at 180 °C for 35-40 minutes.
