Many people's favorite pie comes from childhood – grated pie with jam. It is elementary in preparation, so fragrant, crumbly and very tasty, and most importantly – natural.

The FoodOboz editorial team has chosen a recipe for a very quick to make homemade grated berry pie that you can easily repeat.

Ingredients:

  • flour – 4-5 tbsp.
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • sugar – 1 cup
  • butter – 200 g
  • fresh berries, apples, or jam – 1 tbsp.
  • salt – a pinch
  • vanilla – 10 g
  • soda – 10 g
  • vinegar or lemon juice – 10 g

Method of preparation:

  1. Soften the butter a little, but do not melt it. Add salt, sugar, vanilla and beat well with a mixer or in a blender.
  2. Add the eggs to the finished butter mass and mix well.
  3. Quench the baking soda with vinegar or lemon juice, add it to the butter, and mix.
  4. Sift the flour through a sieve and add gently, knead well, the dough should be like crumbs, and gradually it will be like plasticine if done correctly.
  5. Put the finished dough in the freezer for at least 40-50 minutes.
  6. Cover a baking sheet or mold with parchment, spread the chilled dough well with your hands and make the sides. Spread a generous layer of jam on the crust, and then grate the dough on top and sprinkle the layer with jam.
  7. Put in the oven for 20-30 minutes and bake at 150-170 C, until fully cooked.

The finished treat is best served hot, with black tea with milk or cocoa.
