Garlic greens: how to prepare a gourmet dish with simple products

Garlic shoots are a seasonal, inexpensive and very easy to prepare product. Greens can be used to make many different dishes that will definitely find their connoisseurs.

Chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared his own vision of cooking garlic greens on Instagram. According to him, the result is an incredibly tasty side dish that can also serve as a main course.

Ingredients

  • garlic shoots
  • oil for frying
  • butter
  • salt
  • water

Method of preparation

1. Rinse the garlic shoots, cut off the seeds and cut into 4-6 cm long pieces. Rinse under running water.

2. Put them in a frying pan heated with vegetable oil and fry for 5 minutes.

3. Add a piece of butter, wait for it to melt and stir.

4. Add a few tablespoons of water, stir, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

5. You can also add sour cream a few minutes before cooking.
