Garlic and dill buns instead of bread: the easiest recipe

Recipe for lean garlic buns

Buns are a tasty dough product that is very simple and quick to prepare. Moreover, you only need 3-4 ingredients.

Cook and food blogger Olha Matviy shared a recipe for delicious, airy buns, which will be a great alternative to bread, on Instagram (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

Ingredients:

  • flour - 450 g
  • water - 250 ml
  • dry yeast - 10 g
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • oil - 30 ml
  • dill - 10 sprigs
  • eggs - 1 pc.

Garlic spread

  • garlic - 1 head
  • salt - 0.5 tsp
  • oil - 50 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Sift flour. Add dry yeast, salt, and sugar.

2. Add oil to water, mix and pour into the flour. Mix again.

3. Chop dill, add it to the dough, knead well, and put it in a multicooker to rise.

4. Then divide the dough into equal balls and form donuts with your hands.

5. Put them in a baking dish and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.

6. Brush with an egg 10 minutes before they are ready and put them back in the oven to brown.

7. For garlic spread, chop garlic, mix with herbs and oil, and grease the finished buns.
