French-style meat is a wonderful hot dish that can be prepared simply for lunch or served on a festive table. Today, FoodOboz editorial team shares ideas for cooking meat in French from two types of meat: pork and chicken.
Meat in French from pork
Ingredients:
- Pork - 800 g
- Onions - 4 pcs
- Hard cheese - 300-350 g
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Greens - to taste
- Mayonnaise - to taste
Method of preparation:
- Rinse and dry the pork.
- Cut into layers no more than 1 cm thick.
- Pound on both sides. Rub each pounded piece with salt and pepper on both sides. Put the meat on a plate and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
- Cut the onion into rings or half rings.
- Spread the onion in a layer over the entire surface of the mold. Put the meat on top. Drizzle with mayonnaise.
- Sprinkle each piece of meat separately with grated cheese. Sprinkle chopped herbs on the cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Meat in French from chicken
Ingredients:
- Chicken fillet - 1 pc.
- Mushrooms - 300 g
- Onions - 1 pc
- Tomatoes - 1 pc
- Hard cheese - 200 g
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Oil - 1-2 tbsp
Method of preparation:
- Rinse the chicken fillet and cut it lengthwise into 3 pieces, beat off.
- Rinse the mushrooms and cut them into small slices or strips, fry them in vegetable oil.
- Cut the onion into half rings and add to the mushrooms.
- Fry everything until light golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, and cut the tomatoes into slices.
- Preheat the oven.
- Put the chicken fillet on a greased baking sheet, season with salt and pepper, and brush with mustard.
- Put the fried mushrooms with onions and tomato slices on the fillet, and sprinkle with cheese. Put the meat in a preheated 180-degree oven and bake for 20 minutes.
