How to cook potatoes with a crust

Crispy, flavorful, and whole French fries are traditionally eaten in fast food restaurants. All this is because it is impossible to cook them at home – the product falls apart, burns, and loses its golden crust. But if you cook the vegetable not in a frying pan, but in the oven using special technology, the dish will be perfect.

The idea was published on the cristik_crazy_food Instagram page. According to this recipe, the potatoes need to be soaked and flour added to the process, which will preserve the structure of the vegetable and give it a golden crust.

Ingredients :

  • potatoes – 5-6 pcs
  • dry garlic
  • red paprika
  • dry dill or Italian herbs
  • olive oil
  • salt, pepper
  • ketchup
  • mayonnaise
  • flour – 2 tbsp

Method of preparation :

1. Peel the potatoes.

2. Cut into cubes.

3. You can use a paring knife if you have one, or a regular knife.

4. Add all the spices, and drizzle with olive oil. At this stage, add the flour. Mix everything thoroughly.

5. Bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
