Fragrant homemade rose jam: how to prepare

Roses are not only attractive flowers but also a great base for making jam. The jam is very flavorful and has a pleasant color. It tastes perfect with tea.
The idea of making rose jam was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiana Koliesnik (emmaautumn).
Ingredients:
- sugar - 1 kg.
- water - 3 cups
- citric acid - 1 tsp.
- rose - 250 g.
Method of preparation:
1. For the syrup, mix water and sugar.
2. Put on the fire.
3. Cook until the syrup thickens.
4. Then add 0.5 teaspoon of citric acid.
5. Stir.
6. Sprinkle the rose petals with 0.5 tsp of citric acid.
7. Rub with your hands to get the juice.
8. Dip the grated petals into the hot syrup.
9. Cook until tender.
10. Pour into sterile jars.
