For porridge, potatoes and rice: perfect meat goulash in the oven
Traditionally, goulash is cooked in a pot or frying pan. But the meat will be much healthier if you bake it in the oven. The dish will be juicy enough to go well with porridge or pasta.
The idea of cooking goulash for porridge and potatoes in the oven was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Inna Kalancha (inna_kalancha). It contains a lot of vegetables and spices.
Ingredients:
- meat – 1 kg
- potatoes – 1 kg
- onions – 2 pcs
- garlic – 3 cloves
- flour – 2 tbsp
- tomato paste – 3 tbsp
- oil – 3 tbsp
- water for diluting tomato paste – 500 ml
- bay leaf – 3 pcs
- salt and pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Put the chopped meat and vegetables in the baking dish.
2. Sprinkle with flour.
3. Drizzle with oil.
4. Dilute the tomato paste with water.
5. Pour over meat and vegetables, and mix well.
6. Cover with a lid (foil) and put in the oven for 2.5 hours at 200 degrees.
