The most delicious, light and easy to prepare sauce for meats, vegetables, fish and pasta is definitely pesto. It can be prepared with fresh basil, arugula or even dill. For a mild flavor, add Parmesan cheese, nuts and lemon juice.

The chef shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and light pesto sauce made from fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice and garlic.

Sauce recipe

Ingredients:

  • Green basil
  • 30 g pine nuts
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
  • Parmesan cheese 50 g (about 4 tbsp)
  • Olive oil 50 ml (or sunflower oil)
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic

Instead of pine nuts you can use: walnuts, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, sunflower seeds!

1. wash basil, put it in a blender, add lemon juice, grated Parmesan cheese, nuts, olive oil, garlic and blend to a smooth paste.
