Fluffy two-ingredient omelet without a pan: cooking secrets
A perfectly cooked omelet is characterized by its airy and light texture. Frying doesn't always work out that way, so there's an alternative: steaming an omelet. Just two main ingredients: eggs and milk – and you'll be enjoying a delicious breakfast in a matter of minutes.
Food blogger Roksolana Harasymiv (roksolana.harasymiv) shared a steamed omelet recipe on her Instagram page that always turns out fluffy.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 2 pcs
- milk – 3-4 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs and milk. Beat well with a whisk.
2. Pour into a slow cooker and cook in the "Steaming" mode for 18-20 minutes. Secret: cook for the first 5-8 minutes under the lid, the rest of the time - with the lid open.
3. If you don't have a slow cooker, you can cook in a steam bath. To do this, take a frying pan, pour water, and put it in the mold on the steam bath. Cook with the lid closed.
