Fluffy semolina pie with apricots and without flour: a recipe for basic home baking for tea

Semolina is not only a budget-friendly cereal for making milk porridge, but it can also be the basis for making dough for delicious pies. It can be an alternative to flour in baking and even pancakes.

Cook Polina shared a recipe for a delicious semolina pie with apricots on Instagram, which will be very fluffy and won't burn.

Ingredients:

  • kefir - 250 ml
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 175 g
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • butter - 80 g
  • apricots - 6-8 pcs.

Method of preparation:

1. Pour the semolina with kefir, mix and set aside for 10-15 minutes.

2. Add sugar and vanilla sugar to the egg and beat with a blender until fluffy.

3. Add the melted butter, semolina and baking powder to the egg mixture and mix until smooth.

4. Halve the apricots, pit them and cut into strips.

5. Pour the mass into a baking dish, put the apricot slices on top and bake the pie for 35-50 minutes at 170C.
